2025 NYS OSDIA/CSJ "La Bella Lingua Awards
In January "La
Bella Lingua Award" selection process will begin with
Applications mailed to each of the NYS OSDIA/CSJ District's High
School that offers Italian Language courses.
The mailing's cover letter requests the HS Italian Language
Teachers select one of their most qualified
graduating seniors (completing at least three years of Italian
Language courses) to participate.
The school must then submit two copies of their
applicant's official transcript, letter of recommendation,
completed application and student's essay.
All graduating High School students, completing at least three
years of Italian Language Courses, may ask their Italian
Language teacher if they may be considered as their High
Schools'
La Bella Lingua Award candidate. The student selected by their
District's NYS OSDIA/CSJ La Bella Lingua Award Committee
will be presented with a $500 check drawn
from the New York State Grand Lodge
Foundation, Inc., and the "La Bella Lingua Award" certificate.
All questions may be addressed to Mary Ann Rispoli, NYS
OSDIA/CSJ La Bella Lingua Award Program Chairperson
at marispoli@verizon.net.
